Mid-week Creativity Fun !

hello there lovelies !

how are you all keeping ? At the moment, I am a bit sick, but antibiotics are working and I am feeling much better. This is also my second last week in college before this loooong (6 weeks!) Christmas break and I've few exams coming up, so I am studying a bit, just to have some idea how to answer the questions on the day. haha, but it's not all about study - sometimes you need to take a small break and do something fun, and when I say fun - I mean makeup-fun ! 

so earlier today, while sitting down at my desk I've decided to experiment a bit with some creative makeup (again) because amazing people such as Karla Powell inspire me to do stuff like this. If you don't know Karla, she's an amazing makeup artist, who's known for her incredible makeup art work. Check out her instagram for some inspiration, and be in awe how creative this Lady is ! 

anyway, as I mentioned, I've had some fun with purples today - oh God, I love purples soooo much ! and this is what I created. 

flawless face, contoured using purple eyeshadow on the cheeks and a lighter one along the nose. 

purple smokey eye, and cream eyelashes. 

Also, bright fake-looking eyebrows using eyeshadows. 

Ombre lips using plum lip pencil and highlighted in the middle using sparkly, shimmery baby pink/purple.

Lower Lid Colorful Makeup

hello there lovelies ! 

how are you doing ? 

today (actually tonight) I have got for you a everyday makeup tutorial, with a bit of colors on the lower lid just to make it more fun :D 

and for those of you who follow my blog, you already know that I love winged eyeliner on the top, but this time I kept it all simple without any eyeliner :D

P.S. all photos in this tutorial were taken without camera flash and no filter, because I wanted you to see how it looks like in reality :D

here's the finished look: 

now onto the tutorial:

1. Apply some eyeshadow base, if your eyelids tent to go oily throughout the day. Then sweep some matte beige eyeshadow onto entire lid, and define your crease with a soft, brown eyeshadow. 

2. Put a bright orange matte eyeshadow into inner corner of an eye. 

3. Next apply bright, matte pink eyeshadow into the middle part of the lower lid. 

4. Then, apply blue-ish purple eyeshadow into the outer corner of an eye, to make it more smokey :D

5. Then I decided to put some yellow matte eyeshadow into a inner corner just to brighten up the area and to open up the eye even more. 

6. Apply the same purple eyeshadow that you used earlier to the outer corner on the top lid, very close to lashes. This will make the lashes look fuller. 

7. Last but not least, apply few coats of mascara to the top and bottom lashes. 

as you can see it is very simple but yet effective makeup that you can wear everyday.

Matte Black & Purple Pigment Makeup Tutorial

hello there lovelies !

as I promised, I am here today with a black smokey eye tutorial.

if you want to create this look, simply follow these 8 steps. 

1. First of all, apply some eyeshadow base to your eyelid, all the way to the brow bone. This prevents the eyeshadow from creasing and makes the colours more vibrant. I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. 

2. Using soft brown eyeshadow, define your crease by softly applying the eyeshadow using fluff brush. This will act as a transition colour and it will help you to blend out the black eyeshadow later on. 

3. Apply matte, black eyeshadow to the entire eyelid. 

4.  Blend out the edges using the same fluffy brush that you used before, so that there no harsh lines. 

5. Apply the same soft brown eyeshadow to the lower lid. Then use waterproof eyeliner on your waterline. 

6. Blend the eyeliner using black eyeshadow on a very small brush, so that you can get very close to the lashes. 

7. If you want you can leave it like that, or you can add some purple pigment to the centre of an eyelid. I used Essence pigment in the number 023. Very affordable and they're just amazing ! 

8. Apply liquid eyeliner along the top lashes, and wing it out slightly so it's more like a cat-eye effect. 

Apply few coats of mascara to the top and bottom lashes, and then if you want you can add some falsies ! 

and there you have it, very simple, but effective black smokey eye ;) suits all eye colours and it's great for a night out :D

Deep Purple and Orange Shimmer Makeup Tutorial

hello there lovelies !

So today I've got for you super smokey, deep purple and a bit of shimmery orange makeup tutorial, which I got inspiration from ChrisspyMakeup, who does awesome and dramatic makeup looks and I couldn't wait to recreate it.

so let's start :

1. Start with the eyeshadow base to even out the skin tone and to help eyeshadow last longer.

2. Apply off-white eyeshadow to the brow bone to highlight it just a bit, and then add orangy color into the crease, slightly blending it up towards the brow bone. 

3. Apply medium brown eyeshadow to the crease of an eye. This adds definition to the eyes.

4. Apply purply-brown'ish eyeshadow onto the top of the preious eyeshadow, but also bring it down the both corners of an eye.

5. Apply deep purple matte eyeshadow on the top of the previous color, to add more definition and to deepen up the color. 

6. Apply the deep purple eyeshadow into the lower lid, all the way in, slightly blending it out. 

7. Apply some liquid eyeliner to the top, slightly wing it out, so it looks more smokey. Add few coats of mascara and you're done.

burgundy and a bit of gold makeup tutorial

hello there lovelies !

today I have got some old tutorials of mine, but Autumn is coming soon, so I've decided to show you my version of fall makeup. Whenever I think of Autumn, I think of warm colours such as reds, browns, goldens and deep purples, so here is what you can recreate at home by following these 8 simple steps. 

1. start of with some eyeshadow base to even out the skin tone and to make sure that the eyeshadow stays in place and that it won't crease. 

2. apply deep burgundy shadow into the crease, by going 2/3 the way in. 

3. gently blend out the colour so that, there's no harsh lines.

4. re-apply the same colour into the crease, blending at the same time.

5. apply darker burgundy/purple colour into the outer corner of an eye, so that it adds more definition into the eyes and makes it more smokey. 

6. gently blend it into the previous colour. 

7. apply light golden colour to the inner corner as well as to the middle of the eyelid, and then blend it in with the burgundy colour, so that again, there's no harsh lines. 

8. mix the burgundy and deeper burgundy/purple eyeshadow together, and apply it to the lower lid all the way in. Then apply some liquid eyeliner to the top and slightly wing it out so it's more smokey. 

then once all of it is done, apply mascara to the top and the bottom lashes and it's done :)
