How to: fuller, red lips

hello there lovelies !
long time no see, huh ? well, today I've got for you talk-through post on how to make your lips look fuller, bigger and juicy without botox :D
here's before and after shot:

what you gonna need to achieve this effect:
              • any red lipstick
              • deeper red lipliner
              • coral lipstick
              • concealer
              • lip brush

talk through:
1. start with clean lips

2. apply some concealer as a base to your lips

3. with a lip brush, you gonna outline your desired lip shape, you can make your lips bigger or even smaller, if you think your lips are too big

4. once you have your shape, colour in the entire lips with the red lipstick, leaving the centre blank

5. to the blank spot, apply coral lipstick, blending in the edges to the red lipstick.

6. then apply a dot of concealer to the centre of the lip and then blend it in by rubbing lips together

7. next, take your lip liner and go around your lips to create even more 'ombre effect'

8. blot your lips with some tissue to achieve matte look, or leave it like that if you like it.
and you're done !

hope you liked it

Mid-week Creativity Fun !

hello there lovelies !

how are you all keeping ? At the moment, I am a bit sick, but antibiotics are working and I am feeling much better. This is also my second last week in college before this loooong (6 weeks!) Christmas break and I've few exams coming up, so I am studying a bit, just to have some idea how to answer the questions on the day. haha, but it's not all about study - sometimes you need to take a small break and do something fun, and when I say fun - I mean makeup-fun !

so earlier today, while sitting down at my desk I've decided to experiment a bit with some creative makeup (again) because amazing people such as Karla Powell inspire me to do stuff like this. If you don't know Karla, she's an amazing makeup artist, who's known for her incredible makeup art work. Check out her instagram for some inspiration, and be in awe how creative this Lady is !

anyway, as I mentioned, I've had some fun with purples today - oh God, I love purples soooo much ! and this is what I created.

flawless face, contoured using purple eyeshadow on the cheeks and a lighter one along the nose.
purple smokey eye, and cream eyelashes.
Also, bright fake-looking eyebrows using eyeshadows.

Ombre lips using plum lip pencil and highlighted in the middle using sparkly, shimmery baby pink/purple.
and here's the photo that I took with concealer-whitened eyebrows

what do you think about it ?
do you like creative makeup ?

love you

Champagne Smokey Eye + Red Ombre Lips

hello there lovelies !

here's what I created today: smokey eyes with red ombre lips

full list of products:
Revlon Colorstay Foundation (220 natural beige)
Urban Decay Eye Potion
Sleek Contour Kit in Light
Catrice Translucent Loose Powder
Collection Concealer (medium)
W7 Blusher (baby pink)
Coastal Scents Palette
Maybelline Gel Liner (black)
NYC liquid eyeliner (black)
NYC Mascara (big, bold mascara)
Plum Lip Liner (oriflame)
Red Lipstick (Missporty - Malaga)
Collection Eye Definer (brown)
Essence Eyebrow Pencil (brown)
Essence brow palette (lighter shade)

tutorial:

here's three eyeshadow that you gonna need:

1. Apply the lightest shade (number 1) onto the entire lid.

2. Place the darker eyeshadow (number 2) in the outer corner of an eye, softly blending it in so there's no harsh lines.

3.  Re-apply the same eyeshadow to make it look darker

4. Apply the darkest shade (number 3) on the top of the previous eyeshadow so it is deeper and more smokey. Blend it out with a clean fluffy brush.

5. Use liquid, black eyelinr to draw a thick, cat eye winged line.

6. Then apply waterproof liner to your waterline.

7. Blend the line into the lower lashes, with a black matte eyeshadow, really close to the lashes.

8. Apply few coats of mascara, to the top and bottom lashes. You could also use some false lashes, but unfortunately I didn't have any.

the eye is finished so now I'm going to tell you how I did my lips

1) I started off with a dark plum lip pencil to outline my lips.
2) Then I used a brush to blend the line out in the corners of the lips.
3) Then I used red lipstick and I've out it all over the lips.

hope you liked it ;)
