Makeup Updates !

hello there lovelies !
what you've been all up to ? I'm just fine however I can't find time to do like a step-by-step tutorial, because when I do that it turns out bad and I'm not happy with it. However, when I do spontaneous looks, they turn out amazing so here's few looks that I created over the past few weeks.

subtle gold and silvery brown smokeye eye
beyonce - ''mine'' inspired look
fun, pink, purple and a bit of gold.
deep blues and greens - aqua inspired look
today's deep green smokey eye.

neutral golden glitter and black smokeye eye with a dramatic wing.

do you like any of these looks ?

October Favourites !

hello there lovelies !
how you doing guys ? I am doing just fine, though the weather is horrible and I've looooads of notes to go through for college on monday. Anyway, today I want to show you my favourite makeup products that I have been using over the past month, which was October. I can't believe it's over and now we're in this miserable month of November. The past month was amazing for many different reasons: it was my 20th birthday, there was different nights out and of course halloween :D So let's get into it straight away:

so here are my thoughts of these products:

: as I mentioned before in my posts I struggle with really oily and acne-prone skin, therefore I am always on a hunt for products that will help me to fight these unwanted oils, and this time I got myself something that really works. I got this Urban Decay spray as the woman on the counter said that she also has a oily skin and it really works. I got myself a travel-size bottle which was only 12 euro, and I was really enthusiastic about this product and it really works ! I spray my whole face with it once I've done my makeup and it keeps it in place really well, it mattifies my skin and it feels very light on the skin. It also does not have any scent to it, so for me it was perfect. I totally recommend it and I will definitely re-purchase this amazing product !

This is not the first time when I bought this product, however I didn't have it for few months because I lost it, and now it was a right time to but it again. It's a warm-toned, matte contour powder and a powder highlighter which I use to contour my cheekbones, sides of my nose and around my hairline and temples. Sleek makeup is affordable brand, which has very pigmented products so the pay-off is amazing ! only 7,99 euro on their website. Totally recommend it.

3. NYC Liquid Eyeliner

wow, I don't even know where to start with this one ! I bought it because I have seen one of my favourite youtubers (Chrisspy) using it so it was a time for me to get it ! It's really cheap, the brush is amazing and it applies super easy. Perfect for creating cat-eye looks. Go and buy it if you haen't already !

I popped into boots to get a neutral lipstick for everyday look and this one cought my eye ! These lip butters from Revlon are so creamy, so moisturing and omg, they smell amazing :D I couldn't decide which one to get, but I ended up buying this lovely, peachy - orange color which smells delicious and the name is so summery ! I think I got it for 8,20 euro as it was on sale, but the usual selling price is 11,20 ! totally recommend these and definitely will be buying some more colours !

I bought this nail varnish spontaneously, but I was looking for a pastel/baby pink nail polish in ages, and I decided to buy this one as one of my friend recommended it to me :D It glides on really well, dries quickly, colour is adorable and again it's affordable (only 4,55 euro)

I am going to cheat a little bit, because i bought it in August, but I wore this nail varnish throughout the month of October. Barry M makes amazing nail polishes, as they have gelly-like consistency therefore they are easy to apply, they don't chip and they have an amazing range of different colours and effects. I got this black one with gold glitter, because I thought it will look great on a night out as well as on everyday, especially in this horrible rainy weather. I can't remember the price, but I believe it was about 6 euro.

so these are my October favourites. What products have you been using over the past month ?

here's the finished look

1. First of all, prime your eyes with a chosen eyeshadow base

2. Apply bright, shimmery green/lime eyeshadow all over the lid

3.  Softly blend the green colour out using soft brown eyeshadow.

4. To deepen the eye, add some dark brown, softly going up the brow bone

5. To make it even more smokey, add a bit of black eyeshadow into the crease but do not go all the way in.

6. Mix the soft brown and a dark brown together and apply it to the lower lid.

7. Curl your lashes, apply gel liner close to your lashes, to make them look fuller, and slightly wing it out to give it more cat eye look

Deep Purple and Orange Shimmer Makeup Tutorial

hello there lovelies !
So today I've got for you super smokey, deep purple and a bit of shimmery orange makeup tutorial, which I got inspiration from ChrisspyMakeup, who does awesome and dramatic makeup looks and I couldn't wait to recreate it.

so let's start :

1. Start with the eyeshadow base to even out the skin tone and to help eyeshadow last longer.

2. Apply off-white eyeshadow to the brow bone to highlight it just a bit, and then add orangy color into the crease, slightly blending it up towards the brow bone.

3. Apply medium brown eyeshadow to the crease of an eye. This adds definition to the eyes.

4. Apply purply-brown'ish eyeshadow onto the top of the preious eyeshadow, but also bring it down the both corners of an eye.

5. Apply deep purple matte eyeshadow on the top of the previous color, to add more definition and to deepen up the color.

6. Apply the deep purple eyeshadow into the lower lid, all the way in, slightly blending it out.

7. Apply some liquid eyeliner to the top, slightly wing it out, so it looks more smokey. Add few coats of mascara and you're done.

What do you think about it ? Would you wear it ? Comment below :)

burgundy and a bit of gold makeup tutorial

hello there lovelies !
today I have got some old tutorials of mine, but Autumn is coming soon, so I've decided to show you my version of fall makeup. Whenever I think of Autumn, I think of warm colours such as reds, browns, goldens and deep purples, so here is what you can recreate at home by following these 8 simple steps.

1. start of with some eyeshadow base to even out the skin tone and to make sure that the eyeshadow stays in place and that it won't crease.

2. apply deep burgundy shadow into the crease, by going 2/3 the way in.

3. gently blend out the colour so that, there's no harsh lines.

4. re-apply the same colour into the crease, blending at the same time.

5. apply darker burgundy/purple colour into the outer corner of an eye, so that it adds more definition into the eyes and makes it more smokey.

6. gently blend it into the previous colour.

7. apply light golden colour to the inner corner as well as to the middle of the eyelid, and then blend it in with the burgundy colour, so that again, there's no harsh lines.

8. mix the burgundy and deeper burgundy/purple eyeshadow together, and apply it to the lower lid all the way in. Then apply some liquid eyeliner to the top and slightly wing it out so it's more smokey.

then once all of it is done, apply mascara to the top and the bottom lashes and it's done :)

what do YOU think about it ? let me know in the comments below :)

so it begins..

Hello there lovelies !
I really have no idea how to start this blog so I'm just going to keep writing and then see howit goes :D
first things first.. let me tell you more about myself
my name is Agnieszka, but people call me Aggie. I am a student though my real passion is makeup. I think it all started few years ago when I first started to wear makeup at the age of 14 (it is bad, I know) and my makeup consisted of foundation (loads of it actually), black eyeliner and a lipgloss. Looking back now, I must admit that I looked awful and ohhh guuurl, this foundation was definitely not my colour, but we all been there.
I think I started being more insterested in makeup about 2 years ago, when one night while being extremely bored, I decided to do some kind of ''a night out makeup'' and then it turned out to look OK. I was happy with how it turned out, so I snaped a photo of it and posted it onto my facebook profile. I got FEW likes and comments, and then it hit me: I am going to perfect this makeup. I started to get more into youtube tutorials, starting with basics such as smokey eye, winged eyeliner and perfect red lips. I spent hours watching makeup tutorials on youtube, thinking to myself that I wish I could do such a beautiful makeup. So in this blog, I am going to show you some of my makeup ideas, reviews but also some useful tips.
hope you guys going to like it and seeee youuu soooon ;)
