Valentine's Day Makeup Tutorial

hello there lovelies !
how you guys doing ? I am super super busy with college as I've few projects and assignments due next month etc. but anyway I found some time to do a tutorial for you. I didn't know what exactly should I do for you guys, and then I thought Valentine's Day is coming up so it's a great opportunity to show you my version of it.
As I'v been talking to my male friends, I know for fact that they prefer a healthy glowing skin and minimum makeup rather than a completely matte heavy foundation that gives an appearance of a mask.. I came up with the idea of dark, yet subtle smokey eye and healthy, glowing, highlighted skin.
If you think it's not suitable for Valentine's Day, you can still wear it on a night out.

So here's the finished look. (photos taken with flash)

onto the tutorial:

1. Apply some eyeshadow primer so the eyeshadow stays in place all night.

2. With a fluffy brush (I used sigma E40) sweep some soft brown eyeshadow in the crease of an eye and blend it up towars the brow bone.

3. Apply some shimmery, metallic eyeshadow to the entire lid. and softly blend out the edges.

4. Then, apply some deep purple matte eyeshadow into the crease as well as the outer corner of the eye. This will give it more smokey effect.

5. Mix both the metallic and purple shadow and apply it with a small brush onto the lower lid. Then apply some black liquid eyeliner very close to the lashes. This makes the eyelashes look fuller.

6. Apply a bit of shimmery light eyeshadow to the tear-duct of your eye. This makes your eyes look bigger and brighter. Then apply your favourite mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

then I applied Ardell Demi Wispies lashes as they look very natural, and yet they make your eyes look amazing.

skin:

I applied Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in the colour soft beige with a foundation brush.
Then I contoured my face with Sleek Contour Kit in Light
and then I applied some shimmery eyeshadow as a highlighter on the top of the cheekbones, the tip of the nose and brow bone.
I didn't set my face with a powder as I wanted it to stay dewy and glowy.
then I padded some peachy lipgloss onto my lips uisng my finger.

I hope you guys liked it !
have a good weekend and lovely Valentine's Day !

Brown Smokey Eye with a Glitter Wing

hello there lovelies !
I am really sorry for not blogging recently, but I've been kind of busy with my Christmas shopping and all, but today I've got for you something cool. Today I am going to show you what I came up with when, a friend asked me to do some makeup for Christmas / New Year's.
At first, I didn't know what to create, because people expect lots of glitter, sparkle and shimmery eyes. I am not a big fan of loose glitter, because it can get messy and then I am not a very happy human being. But, the other day I popped into boots and I found an awesome thing, called Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner from Collection. They come in few different colours, and they're all amazing, but the Funk just cought my eye. It's a very subtle, gold colour and here's what I created with this.

First of all I created very deep, brown smokeye eye with a very strong black eyeshadow in the crease.
Then I applied the glitter liner and winged it out. On the top of the liner I applied a thin line of a black liquid eyeliner.

It is a very simple look and it's perfect for those who are not so sure about the glitter and also for those who want a bit of sparkle on their eyelids.

I would wear this with a nude lip on Christmas Day or New Year's Eve.

do you like it ?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Girls !

Subtle Green Smokey Eye Tutorial

hello there lovelies !

Today I've prepared for you simple, subtle shimmery green smokey eye :D
here's the finished look

1. First of all, prime your eyes with a chosen eyeshadow base

2. Apply bright, shimmery green/lime eyeshadow all over the lid

3.  Softly blend the green colour out using soft brown eyeshadow.

4. To deepen the eye, add some dark brown, softly going up the brow bone

5. To make it even more smokey, add a bit of black eyeshadow into the crease but do not go all the way in.

6. Mix the soft brown and a dark brown together and apply it to the lower lid.

7. Curl your lashes, apply gel liner close to your lashes, to make them look fuller, and slightly wing it out to give it more cat eye look

Debs (Prom) Makeover

helo there lovelies !
So today I want to show Debs/Prom Makeover that I did today:

my friend Juste, is wearing red dress, so I wanted to keep it more classy, therefore I've decided to do kind of brown smokey eye, with a goldish colour on the lid and a bit of black in the corners.
I also included individual lashes in the corners of the eyes, even though her own lashes are sooo long ! (jealous) and finished the eyes off with a black eyeshadow along the lashes.

here are some pictures:

and also a close up of an eye

what do You guys think of it ? Hope you like it
